The organic sculpture Michel François proposed could only be reproduced in a series of 10 by use of a very futuristic technique called Rapid Prototyping in which a nylon based powder is heated by lasers. This sculpture was combined with the standard lamp and socket.

The link between art and design expresses itself in the distance between the light bulb and the sculpture.
